User Reviews: WARNING - I put my cousin in rehab here for drug abuse (meth mostly). I was told he would not be allowed contact with family for the first 2 weeks while we worked the program. Starting on day 2, they allowed her to use they’re land line phone to call her drug using friend . And she was allowed to call them everyday. Center Description:

User Reviews: I have had been in and out of many rehab facilities before I came to Kernersville Healthcare Centere Outpatient Clinic and I have to say that the environment and staff care that I was exposed to at Kernersville Healthcare Centere Outpatient Clinic played a major role in my recovery. First of all, the facility feels less like a rehab center and more like a resort. Everything at the facilities defines luxury and comfort. I am a diabetes patient and they always took care of what I was supposed to eat. I very much enjoyed all the activities that were scheduled on a daily basis and focused my time at the facility on learning things that I didn’t know of before. They are very dedicated to what they do.

Latest Reviews Of Rehab Centers In North Carolina NC
Side by Side Counseling is a dual diagnosis facility dedicated to helping people with substance use and mental health issues. Side by Side Counseling has given a life worth living and tools to maintain a future worth striving for. Therapy was great and everyone is so caring. Clean, upscale and really good therapists. This is a nice, clean facility with staff that really cares about helping patients to overcome their addiction. Peaceful one-on-one time with the counselors. This treatment center has completely changed my entire world!
My cousin has completed Integrated Family Services`s program and it`s like a miracle happened to her. This place did not just save her life but she came home like a totally different person. She is so happy she has got a goal in her life and she thinks differently about things than before the rehab. She does not talk about too much about the facility but she does not need to tell different stories because I can see she was in the best place. She told us that she loved their music class. She has loved music since I know her but now she listens to a different type of music and now she plays music too. Right now everything is about music around her and I am so happy for her. The other thing she told about was the staff. She said she never meet that many good people before. Everybody is so kind and they are there to help people. And they are doing it from their heart. She said she is going to recommend Integrated Family Services to all her old friend`s family because she wants to show them that they can have a beautiful life and they can be happy without drugs. So if anybody struggles with an addiction or know somebody who has that problem give Integrated Family Services a call they are going to help.
I was surprised and happy to see the way Anew River Counseling Services PLLC respects the dignity and independence of clients. I didn’t feel exploited but in fact, I felt I was helped with love and concern. My psychiatric history was also recorded to remove the problem that had caused addiction. Counselors provided timely sessions to keep follow-up of the recovery.
They are really solely there to help you and to make you feel better. This is the best place for someone who wants to get sober! It really is a mountain resort with amazing people. This place has an amazing program. Everyone here is the best at what they do. They also give you the ability to enhance your spiritual healing. Each staff member brings their own specialty to life and has brought things to the surface for me that I will forever be grateful for.
NC Substance Abuse Facts
The state of North Carolina was awarded $31 million in 2017 to help combat the current opioid overdose crisis. This government grant will provide addiction treatment to almost 3,000 people and is very much needed in a state whose overdose death rates continue to increase every year.
Of the 1,567 drug overdose deaths in NC in 2015, about 80% were due to opioids, such as prescription painkillers and heroin.
Looking at these numbers, it may not be surprising to learn that North Carolina has one of the highest number of painkiller prescriptions per person in the U.S. In 2012, there were 97 painkiller prescriptions per 100 people in the state.
Prescription opioid use can be a slippery slope to heroin abuse; one study found that 86% of heroin users transitioned to the illicit drug after abusing opioid pain relievers. In North Carolina, 16,000 residents use heroin every year, a number that could continue to increase as prescriptions for opioids rise.

Where Else Can I Find Help?
It’s no secret that rehab can get expensive, especially if you need a longer stay in order to get sober. Don’t sacrifice your health to save some extra money; if you need financial assistance there are ways to make it happen, including.
- Payment plans and sliding-scale fees: Ask the rehab center if they have discounted rates for low-income earners or installment plans that will reduce the burden of handing over a lump sum up front.
- Health insurance: If you have private insurance, find a center that accepts your plan. Also ask whether they accept Medicaid or Medicare.
- Personal loans and health care credit: If you need to pay more than you can afford at the start, you may be able to take out a loan to pay for it or apply for a health care credit card.
