It has a veteran staff that cooperates and makes program adjustments on an ongoing basis. ALL of the staff are so caring, knowledgeable and helpful. User Reviews: Stayed for 8 days in 2017 for suicide and self-harm. The entire time was spent in the "group" room, coloring and being judged by the staff. Got to meet with the staff doctor 3 times only, and each of those visits was no longer than 3 or 4 minutes. I saw 2 men get violent at different times during my stay, and staff was slow to intervene....almost like they were afraid. I have PTSD and that was terrifying. They medicate you and place you in the group room and that's it. They charge $1800 after insurance, to put you in a room all day You are not allowed to sleep in or visit your room during the day, and are forced to share a very unsanitary bathroom with all other patients in your wing. The food was horrid, and never what they said it was going to be on the menu. You're given work books to fill out, and a daily agenda to follow, but your work book is never checked and 99% of the time, the agenda was not followed. Met some nice staff, and got along with most of the patients, but this was one of the worst experiences of my life, when it should have been one of the most helpful. This place needs to be closed down. HORRIBLE.

User Reviews: Loved it and the people. The Wilmington Treatment Center at Wilmington is just what one would expect for anyone who requires help with de-addiction. Excellent approach to rehab. If you or your loved one is having a problem with drugs or alcohol check out this place. The patients are allowed to participate in community service projects. Between the great staff members, the multi-modality approach that they offer, and the malleable length of time of the program itself really made this the program that was able to make all the difference in my overall recovery process.

User Reviews: I have worked in many facilities for addiction. I have recently sent someone who is a loved one to this facility and I can assure you this place is not equipped to deal with someone who is coming off of maintenance AKA Suboxone. They do not have the caseload the staff nor do they have the knowledge to prepare a proper treatment plan or work effectively on a caseload when they're managing 150 patients and at maximum . This place has truly disgusted me and I have worked in pretty bad places but this place takes top-notch it's not what it was in 2010 when the opiate epidemic started to bloom. If your loved one is looking for a facility I strongly suggest please going to an Al-Anon or nar-anon meeting and ask someone for advice and have your loved one go to an AA na CA or Coda meeting and finding someone who has a year or more with a working knowledge of the twelve steps and twelve traditions as their primary purpose is to share their experience strength and Hope. You guys are truly a disgrace to treating an addict like an addict when someone is there to get off of Suboxone who's been on it for years as maintenance. it's truly sickening to think a place where we send our loved ones is safe Falls in to The Stereotype that Society puts on an addict.
