User Reviews: Horrible place. We were basically just locked in the day room all day, almost never did any actual therapy. Food was bad, and no accommodations for those with eating disorders (which they claim to treat) I feel worse than when I got there. Nothing was ever addressed, staff was rude, Doctor was extremely rude and condescending, and I could not see my sister at all while I was in there. Do not send your child here.

User Reviews: Our son recently completed detox/rehab over a 30 day period. Overall, the experience was a positive one and he continues his recovery in a local residence program. Small groups and medical/professional support were a positive. Food was cafeteria like. Need more variety and healthier options. The weekend program for family/friends is informative and a good support network. One shortcoming is the lack of truly developing an exit strategy/plan. The Sunday family meeting stresses the importance of developing a strong exit plan but our experience was very weak. It is important to start discussing the recovery plan for post Wilmington Treatment Center before the last week of rehab.

Latest Reviews Of Rehab Centers In Lowell NC
Very professional staff, they worked hard to help me and it was a success, I have now been sober over 2 years. I also sent my step sister who did very well!!
I came here six months ago to do something about my meth addiction. To be honest I didn’t know what I was getting myself into but I took the chance. With the help and great support from all the therapists and case manager. I finished the whole program without leaving.
Excellent recovery from people who really understand.
The staff was a strength. Carolina Community Mental Health is a great treatment facility with a very caring, sensitive, empathetic, warm family of staff members. Laundry available. Some of the employees have gone through their own troubles with drugs, so they understand and actually care about getting the patient through what they are going through. Patients are raving about this facility and the care they are receiving, its literally an all star team of substance abuse professionals. From one on one treatment, groups, outside meetings, and helping patients find sponsorship.
