User Reviews: I was a patient at this facility. I was lied to about this facility before arrival. I had 2 years sober before getting sick and was forced to take medicine that led to a relaspe. My GF had went to a facility down the street, i was told it was the same place, the pictures shown on website are of the other facility. During the Detox phase i feel i was not givin adequate meds to help with opiate withdrawal. While in detox they force you to be around patients who are not in detox and can be quite embarrassing. The nurses were extremely loud and would wake me up all hours of the night. Making jokes and laughing extremely loud at 2 or 3 in the morning. I was harassed to go to groups after having doctors permission to have bed rest. My body could not catch up between rough detox, being woke up, not being able to eat there disgusting food. I told that the food was extremely good and i would have choices on what i wanted to eat, which turned out to be false. I felt like i was wronged. I went in with a positive mindset. After all the issues i had after day 5 i could no longer stay positive as my mind a my body was on a downward slope. I let everyone know hpw bad i felt and they continued to just ignore me as if i was lying about being sick. I strongly advise not to go or send loved ones to this place. Day 7 i ended up getting extremely sick because they force patients to attend group while being sick, therefore getting everyone else sick. It took 15 hours for me to get meds for diarrhea, i had a drain which if i have the runs i cannot hold it. I asked the nurses to contact the doctor, they made me wait to see them till 9 in the morning. . Alls im saying is this is not a good place to go to, i wish the therapists could work for a more professional treatment. Please be careful where you send your loved ones, this facility needs alot of work. All N all i ended up running out on day 10 so that i could go to a hospital. They need to keep detox patients separated from the other patients who are not in detox. Let people in detox rest and not harass them to go to groups and forced to sign a peice of paper that shows you attended so they can bill insurance. This the only facility i have ran from out of 5, i ran because i was scared fir my well-being. After leaving they tried to tell my family not to come get me, they wanted them to leave me out on the streets so i would come back to the facility. They just wanted me to go get high and come back and hang out witb the other patients. Im still alive 4 months later and will be returning to work after 4 surgeries. I would not go back to this place ever, its a very small facility and its like being in a hamster cage.

Latest Reviews Of Rehab Centers In Homeland FL
I’ve never seen so many helpful people as I’ve seen at Chemical Addictions Recovery Effort Bay County Outpatient Office. It’s amazing. The staff there make going to treat an enjoyable experience. The programs there are great and really helpful but it’s the staff that makes all the difference. Everything any of them can do to help you out they are more than happy to do. If you are having a bad day someone is always there to cheer you up or help you work through whatever problem is bringing you down. They really show you that you can have fun when you’re sober and that’s a pretty great thing to do. When I was on drugs I didn’t really think I could have a good time when I was sober and so never really wanted to get clean. Seeing all the people at Chemical Addictions Recovery Effort Bay County Outpatient Office really, truly enjoying themselves and the life they are creating changed something for me and I really saw how much better my life would be without drugs which turned into a willingness to get clean and sober. That willingness changed my life.
Its a very good program and they have meetings for the family members as well. It was beneficial that the counselors are recovering alcoholics and addicts as well. However, it was only a 28-day program or less, and a longer program would have been better.
The environment is calm and serene and the atmosphere is relaxed with all the facilities you need. Good staff. Great counselors/nurse. The facility in itself was also a great place to be and the attitude of their general staff was also very kind and caring. The staff at Haven Recovery Center truly cares about their clients and offers highly personalized professional treatment. The owners/staff truly care about your well-being and push you to be a better person each day!
My daughter has had much hurt and pain in her life and had experience depression, anxiety, and panic attacks for years which led to drug addiction. She has been to doctors, in counseling, in outpatient care, and in hypnosis to get help. With no relief, she continued in her addiction and was digging a hole so very deep that her very life was at risk. She asked me to find a place that was different than where she had been because she was desperate to be clean and get on a better road to recovery. I called several places but finally was led to Meridian Behavioral Healthcare, Union County as this was a holistic center. Exactly what my daughter needed. She was admitted to a 30-day inpatient care program. The facility was so very welcoming, calming, and serene. The staff was so awesome, understanding and considerate of our emotions and feelings. They welcomed her in and worked with her on so many issues. When she would call home, she would talk about all of the different treatments she was getting and how it was helping her. She actually said she was having fun! The road to recovery is a long one and we know this as her family; however, because of this facility and the staff and management there, she has experienced wellness and she is clean. I thank you all at Meridian Behavioral Healthcare, Union County for what you have achieved in this facility and for all that you did to support my daughter and our family. God bless you all.
