The Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS), Division of Mental Health and Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse provides funding to community mental health agencies for qualifying people in Illinois who need these services.

- State financed insurance (other than Medicaid).

IHR is an outpatient mental health center serving both mental health and drug and alcohol populations, using both individual and group counseling. IHR provides DUI assessments and intensive outpatient groups for substance abusers.

The mission of IHR is to provide a continuum of quality recovery based mental health and substance abuse services ranging from education and prevention through treatment and aftercare for residents of Livingston County.
