The Sunrise House Detoxification Unit is a medically assisted and monitored program, using state-of-the-art medications to assist in the withdrawal process. The unit is staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days a week by a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Counselors, Family Counselors, Dieticians and Physicians to provide medical treatment and counseling. The unit provides detoxification services for patients who are addicted to alcohol, opiates, benzodiazepines, pain killers, cocaine and other drugs. their addictions.
Sunrise House Foundation, as part of its mission, offers an intensive inpatient rehabilitation treatment program for adults, with specific gender based tracks. The program begins with a comprehensive assessment of medical and health, psychological, quality of life, addiction, family, social and work environment, and spiritual dimensions. An interdisciplinary team of addiction professionals, health professionals and behavioral health professionals in partnership with the patient develop treatment plans, continuing care plans and discharge/treatment transition plans. Treatment consists of group and individual counseling, trauma and gender-specific counseling, relapse prevention, life story, peer evaluations, daily educational and motivational lectures, workshops, recreational and family education, and psychodrama. The program is rooted in the 12 Step philosophy. These modalities are tailored to fit the needs of the individual.
Inpatient treatment is complemented by individualized referral to appropriate continuing care providers.
