Recovery Support Services (RSS) purpose is to increase the prevalence and quality of long term recovery from substance use disorder by mobilizing recovery support services. RSS aims to develop a community-based workforce that can successfully integrate recovery support services and support individuals’ efforts to initiate and sustain their recovery, expand the availability and quality of recovery-oriented supports and services within community-based organizations, and establish effective linkages between community-based organizations and recovery support organizations, substance use disorder treatment, and other sources of support within the community.
