User Reviews: The staff is really helpful and loving. All of the clinicians are here to help others with their own stories and different techniques to acquire success for each client. Acadiana Recovery Center offers a variety of services that most other treatment facilities do not such as Equine Therapy, Yoga therapy, and weekend community recreation. So very thankful! Acadiana Recovery Center is a new age revolution in drug rehabs. The chef and staff were very accommodating. I am so thankful for Acadiana Recovery Center and their staff.

User Reviews: Amazing staff A weakness was the old building This program is very efficient in terms of rehab and recovery and detox. This was an amazing experience, both for a strong start to my sobriety as well as a positive jumping off point for my sober relationships. The supportive staff was available to me 24/7 and were with me every step of the way to my recovery; from one-one-one talks with my counselor to supportive and safe, group meetings. I was always made to feel that my health and sobriety were of first priority to everyone with whom I worked. There was always a nurse in watch, and whenever there was any difficulty, I knew I could count on them, and on other staffs. The possibility of choosing from different programs just made things easier. I was not forced to do a program that I did not agree with, I have the possibility to decide for myself. And through out my stay, many times I had the possibility to choose, I was never forced into anything I did not agree with. I think that this is something that other rehabs lack, and I am glad that Acadiana Recovery Center is open minded about these things, and they let you choose. The grounds and buildings are immaculately kept and the food is great. My extensive food allergies were accommodated constantly. I would not hesitate in recommending Acadiana Recovery Center to anyone who suffers from addiction as they have changed my life and support me on a daily basis.

User Reviews: My sister went to Ochsner Addictive Behavior Unit last year and it saved her life. Honestly, it did much more than that though. I stopped talking to my sister years ago because I had given up that she’d ever get sober and then remain that way for any length of time. She’s struggled with addiction for 13 years and has been to rehab so many times I’ve lost count of how many. She usually finished those programs but she never stayed clean for more than 2 months. Usually though, she’d relapse within a week or two. It was depressing for everyone involved and after a while I made myself not care if she in rehab or getting high. I would have loved for her to go to a rehab and then stay sober afterward but I just didn’t see it happening. Until she went to Ochsner Addictive Behavior Unit. So many things changed for her there. Mainly she got sober and finally had the desire and the tools to stay that way. It’s been 8 months she since graduated from Ochsner Addictive Behavior Unit. She hasn’t relapsed. She’s still working hard and doing the things she needs to in order to stay sober. My sister has been to so many rehabs that I can say with complete honesty that it wasn’t just that my sister went to rehab or that she decided that she wanted to be sober. It was going to Ochsner Addictive Behavior Unit specifically that made the difference and I’m still amazed how much better she’s doing.

The wonderful caring staff at Acadiana Addiction Center help them to regain their light, teaches them that they are worthy. If asked, "Would I recommend Acadiana Addiction Center to a family member " DEFINITELY, I would! The counselors are wonderful, caring, thoughtful and so supportive!! Acadiana Addiction Center strengths lie with the counselors, they are such a caring, strong group of women!! Windows, shower amenities, tech staff and intake staff. They are wonderful people. They lack focus, in turn, their attention to the patient is short and seems scattered.
