Latest Reviews Of Rehab Centers In Mississippi MS
This is the right place if you are serious about taking control of your own recovery. The counselors are well-trained, supportive and clearly engaged in giving clients a wide variety of tools and mental processes that they can use for life-long health. The chef and staff were very accommodating. Again, I would recommend Serenity Summit LLC to any who wants to control their own recovery through wide-ranging skills.
All the staff members at the facility were very passionate about their jobs and they always showed a keen interest in helping out the clients with any issues that they were facing. The staff are concerned and they have compassion. If you are looking for a treatment facility that is clean, healthy and beautiful then you must choose Jolimar Recovery Center. Food options were very diverse and exotic in-between but always awesome! You can really tell that the staff is there for their clients. I gained a lot of valuable tools while I was here.
COPAC was very patient and caring when dealing with my loved one. All of the staff I dealt with were passionate about helping and were also very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this treatment center as an option for anyone who has a dual diagnosis of mental health and substance abuse.
The counselors and assistants at Hinds Behavioral Health Services, Jackson work towards a common goal of providing healing patients from substance abuse. The team is highly talented, patient and understand the trauma the patient is dealing with and extend all needed support love, affection and care to heal the patient. This place is highly recommended for people who have lost faith in oneself and are sincerely looking to give up an addiction.
MS Substance Abuse Facts
Substance abuse disorders are extremely common in the United States—in 2015 alone, more than 20 million people had a substance use disorder related to alcohol or illicit drug use.
The number of drug overdoses involving opioids continues to be a major public health problem across the nation. In 2015, more than 33,000 people died from opioid overdose. Mississippi residents have felt the unfortunate consequences of the opioid epidemic:
- In 2014, there was an average of 1.1 opioid prescriptions written for every single Mississippi resident.
- Hydrocodone was the most commonly prescribed opioid (2,020,974 prescriptions), followed by tramadol (521,093 prescriptions), and oxycodone (449,243 prescriptions).
- Between 2010 to 2011, 142 babies were born with neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS) because their mothers used opioids during pregnancy. There were 2.7 NAS-related hospitalizations per every 1,000 neonatal stays.
Getting Addiction Treatment Help
There are numerous options available for recovery, including inpatient residential programs, outpatient services, and partial hospitalization programs that fall somewhere in between in terms of time commitment and treatment intensity.
To find out which Mississippi rehab center is best for you, begin by browsing through our directory of rehab centers to see what types of treatment programs are available in your area, or call us to speak directly with a recovery specialist who can help.
Before choosing a program, it’s a good idea to list the key features you are looking for in a treatment program. For example, location may be very important to you. Do you want to be close to home or far away so you can focus on recovery without any of the distractions of your day-to-day life? Another factor is the type of therapy offered. If you are interested in a mindfulness-based approach, you may want to find a center that offers alternative therapies like yoga or meditation. Taking the time to review what’s important to you before entering a treatment program will help set you up for success and ensure that you have the optimal experience in treatment.
Where Else Can I Find Help?
Addiction therapy is designed to help you build the skills that will help you avoid relapse after leaving treatment. Although it includes a large upfront cost, the investment you are making in your health could help save your life by preventing further harm.
To get started, you can reach out to treatment centers that offer sliding scale payment plans. Your treatment fee will be based on what you can afford to pay. You can also look into financing options and pay for treatment in monthly installments instead of in one lump sum. There are other ways to cover the cost, including raising funds through crowdfunding, asking friends or family for help, or taking out a healthcare loan.
