Alcoholism recovery necessitates a total change of one's lifestyle and perceptions. Substance abuse addiction can be co-occurring with mental health disorders, trauma, or behavioral issues. Latest Reviews Of Rehab Centers In Farmington ME
I have to give a shout out to all of the staff at the Sarah White Counseling program. I was struggling with Heroin for a long time. I was in denial about getting help because I thought that I could control my addiction, but it turned out that I could not do it on my own. Everything about this place is top notch and the staff is very well trained. We have individual classes and there are so many classes to choose from and I like the fact that I was able to choose what direction I wanted to take. They all helped me to understand why I was using and how I got here. The detox is great and the fact that it was a medical detox was even better because they make sure you are as comfortable as possible. They have a work out room and that helped me get a lot of my strength and energy back. It was a really peaceful setting and I loved that fact that we could take walks and do things a group as well as do things individually on our own as well. I can not say enough good things about this center and I think that if you are struggling or know anyone who is that this would be a good place for you to check out. I could not even remember what it felt like to be clean and sober before coming here and now that I graduated and am sober I owe it to them for being clean for the last 6 months.
The setting is peaceful with all of the comforts of a resort. The facility is well kept and clean with plenty of space for patients to do activities. The counselors there are extremely helpful and caring. Home cooked meals. Very tasty and filling. This place is amazing, but only if you want recovery. They actually care! I have not relapsed.
They are equipped to help you detox with more natural remedies rather than pills. Of course, they have nurses administering medications when it is needed. MGCC Outpatient Counseling is a very well run Facility. The facility is very neat and clean. This facility has a great caring staff that goes out of their way to help the clients. They are very kind, accommodating and knowledgeable. I would strongly recommend MGCC Outpatient Counseling to anyone who is desiring beating drug and alcohol addiction once and for all and for good.
The Dr. is the reason we chose Eastport Healthcare Inc Machias Center for our son. we felt very comfortable sending our son to this facility. So far our son is doing well and has said the center is unlike any he has been to in the past and is much nicer and the staff really cares and wants to make him well again. He told us last week that the food is excellent and the nutritionist is really helping him understand the connection between a healthy diet and how he feels mentally.
