Latest Reviews Of Rehab Centers In Dixon KY
Most people do not realize that they have a drug problem before it is too late. Luckily for myself, I was able to get help and found a center like this one to teach me and guide me along the way. Cumberland River Comp Care Center is a great and well-established rehab facility and they have an amazingly informative staff that is there to help you along the way. We are able to get massages here and that was a big help for me in the fact that I was getting much better sleep and I felt that that helped me be more comfortable and have less anxiety on a day to day basis. Once completing the detox process I was able to attend groups or one on one counseling. A couple of things that I really enjoyed about the program was the workout rooms and the music room. Getting nutritious meals daily was great, but then being able to go the workout room daily and build up our muscles and get a strong balanced body back was something that I was striving for so that I could not feel weak and powerless anymore. The music therapy room was another thing that really worked for me. I think we all connect to music one way or another. Whether it brings back good memories of a special occasion or brings you back to a time that you were at your lowest point in life. Being able to connect to music for me was a very powerful thing and being able to learn to listen to a song that I could relate to without the possibility of using at the same time was huge for me, so in that regard, I found this very helpful. Along with doing some counseling within groups or one on one I was able to find so many variations of treatment here. I was helped by some amazing people here and they really are educated and well trained. I gained a lot of knowledge by being here and learning how to put things in perspective. I can now identify my triggers and see when or if I enter into a dangerous situation and that is one thing that has helped me not to relapse.
It’s a great facility with a peaceful atmosphere and great staff. The caring staff, the outings, and home-like environment. Great clinicians. The BHT staff and case managers are really caring. Home cooked meals. Very tasty and filling. The staff is very kind and understanding. I had a very pleasant experience with the staff members at the AA and Associates.
I think that they are in an amazing place and they help people and they genuinely care.
My parents found Hope in the Mountains and I am so glad they did. I’ve been using and trying to quit heroin for the last 10 years and it’s been really hard. I’ve gone to a few 28-day programs but they didn’t really do much good. By the time the 28 days were up I still wouldn’t be feeling all that great and when I went home it became almost impossible to stay clean. Since I wouldn’t be feeling completely fine and knowing that I could be feeling better if I just used it became all about willpower for me to stay clean and that never worked well for me. If sheer willpower alone could have kept me clean I wouldn’t have needed rehab in the first place. The fact that Hope in the Mountains wasn’t based on time but on my own progress through the program made such a huge difference for me. I was able to move through the program at my own pace and when I did move forward on my program I was completely 100 percent ready to. Another thing about Hope in the Mountains that was different for me was the fact that I actually enjoyed my time there. I didn’t spend my time there wishing I was somewhere else. I was happy being there and that made it so much easier to really concentrate on my program and not on anything that was happening at home. The counselors at Hope in the Mountains are beyond amazing. I’ve never been to a place where every single counselor cares that much about the clients. There’s a lot of staff there that have had their own experiences with drug or alcohol addiction and because of that they really want to help the clients that come through. There wasn’t one time when I couldn’t talk to a counselor about something that was bugging me. I never felt like I was getting blown off. I also felt understood on a completely different level. It’s one thing for a counselor to tell you they understood what you’re going through. It is quite another thing to actually feel understood. At Hope in the Mountains I always felt like I was understood and that I would get the help I needed to get through whatever it was I was going through at the time. A few other things about Hope in the Mountains that I loved. We got to go out once a week with the other clients and go do something fun. You wouldn’t think it’d be that important but in actuality it made me realize how easy it was to have a good time without drinking or getting high. I was at Hope in the Mountains for a little over 2 months and when I went home I was completely confident in my own ability to stay sober. I’ve been staying with my parents until both they and I feel like I’m ready to move out again. It’s amazing being about to reconnect with my parents. I never realized I missed just hanging out with my mom. I’m working now. I’ve had the same job for 2 months and as sad as it sounds, it’s the longest I’ve held a job. Going to Best Drug Rehab has completely changed my life. I’ve never been happier than I am right now and it’s all because of the program and the people at Hope in the Mountains.
