User Reviews: This is the poorest excuse for a rehab that I have ever seen in my life. I did not attend this facility and I am so sorry that I put a loved one though this. Thank God that THEY determined they could not medically provide care for my loved one after ONE day. I am not going into details. Suffice it to say in my opinion I don't think they have the brain power to treat a goldfish. They would have better luck opening a bar then to try and treat alcoholism. I am also a grateful recovering alcoholic of 12 years who had the great fortune of not dealing with these people. I thank God for watching over me. 10/25/2016

User Reviews: The program good, counselors very good. Effective program.Unfortunately the insurance dept. and coordinator are inept boarding on incompetent, despite being a self proclaimed insurance "expert". Payment in full is required up front, as GB is out of network with many carriers. The in house assessment was that in patient treatment was required, but the ins. carrier ultimately determined it was not and denied the claim. GB insurance coordinator stated that pre authorization of in patient was received, but has NEVER produced this, despite numerous requests. It was obvious she did not understand the internal/external appeal process on this private insurance plan and resulted not being able to bring in an attorney before appeals were exhausted. This has been the only in patient stay where insurance did not cover, the only difference, ins submittal and back up support.Bottom line Good program , do not count on competent help on insurance or rely on reimbursement.

User Reviews: When someone first comes into a place ..they are going to try to bull...you every way they did when they were on the street. And if someone wanted to just talk...the girls would all sit around and would listen and they all pretty much helped each other...That was what I was taught there..You could tell after awhile who was going to stay or go..but I got to where I would sit up all night and get them to tell me what they wanted most in life beside the drug or the alcohol..and I would ask them to write in a journal about their thoughts and feelings and share with their counselor what they had shared with me..I didn't come from the back ground a lot of them did...but still I didn't think I was better than anyone. I was still an addict. I found that a lot of the girls just wanted to feel good about themselves and to feel respected....I didn't have any kind of training ..I just felt from the heart..I was raised with love and respect and a lot of those girls didn't have a good life at all..but I didn't feel sorry for them. I told them they could be anything they wanted or they could be a drug addict, they had choices...but they have to believe they are worth more than they have been shown.. I think you can be all tough and shove stuff down their throat but listening and actually giving a crap is what is more empowering than all that stuff some learn from a book...It worked for me and a lot of the girls...but some just didn't ever get it. The counselors were awesome and knew their stuff...and they actually cared about what they were doing.. It wasn't a fancy place on the beach...but it was clean and the food was good ..and we only had one problem the whole time I was there...They (the courts) put a suicidal girl in the facility...and she self-injured while there. Not only did I beat my addictions...I found the person in me that I needed to be.

User Reviews: This facility is great from start to finish. The staff is top notch. I cannot say enough about this program. My son had been to three other programs with no luck they were very shady and lied. When I took my son to Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches I was never so excited. He loves the program, the staff, and the facility. He will be graduating soon! His case manager has been wonderful. Families are kept informed and can make visits. If someone you know needs help this is the right place.
