WestCare Nevada Inc Women and Children Campus provides a program for homeless women called V.O.Y.A.G.E. The V.O.Y.A.G.E. Project (Vision of Young Adults Gaining Empowerment) is a transitional living program designed to serve runaway or homeless young women, ages 16 to 21 years old, who need help learning to live independently. The program is based on the Positive Youth Development Model and serves to foster a sense of self-sufficiency and achievement by encouraging growth and promoting resiliency. The program is also the only in the area that provides services to pregnant and parenting young women in this age group.
