Provider Description

Rushford is an inpatient drug and alcohol detox center. Fees are based on income sliding scale.

Full description: Inpatient detox for alcohol, heroin, inhalants, and prescription medicine. Medical detox unit with daily physician-supervised, 24-hour nursing, pharmaceutical support, structured clinical environment, family intervention, and long-term treatment planning. Length of program varies between 3 - 6 days. Accepts dual diagnosis.

Forms of payment: Medicaid LIA; Medicaid; Private insurance; Private pay.

Rushford is supported by client fees, third-party payers, United Way, private contributions and state agencies, including the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and the Department of Children and Families. Rushford is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is licensed by the State of Connecticut.
