The 34 bed facility is in Washoe County, Nevada.  It is a state licensed facility close to city bus lines, shopping and employment centers.

The Empowerment Center is not funded by tax dollars; therefore, it is imperative each resident pay fees in a timely manner.

  • Weekly life skills training, step study, and 12-step meetings
  • Weekly Women's Empowerment or Men's Strength of Character groups
  • Successful, experienced, sober staff, with experiential knowledge of the 12-steps of recovery

The Empowerment Center prepares its members for success by providing democratically run, self-supporting housing.  Residents interact with others in maintaining the facility, following guidelines and obtaining gainful employment.

What are the fees for residency?

Fees are $155 per week or $22.14 per day.  Upon intake, residents pay their first and last week's fee and an administrative fee of $50.  Limited scholarships are available for individuals seeking services at The Empowerment Center.

How long is the program?

The minimum length of stay is 90 days.  However, residents are encouraged to stay up to two years in order to build a solid foundation of recovery.

The Launching Pad Empowerment Center (LPEC) is a licensed sober living facility the provides peer to peer support for recovering men, women and homeless veterans.  We specialize in helping people rebuild their lives after drug, alcohol, or problem gambling treatment by providing sober living homes and a recovery-oriented system of care.

Fees are $150 per week, or $21.43 per day.  Upon intake, residents pay their first and last week fee, and an administrative fee of $50.  There are some limited scholarships available for individuals seeking services at the Launching Pad Empowerment Center.
