We now know that alcohol and substance dependence are chronic and progressive brain- based disorders. Physical and psychological dependence is the result of physiological changes in the brain induced from the consistent use of alcohol and/or drugs. Lasting Recovery is a nationally accredited and highly respected outpatient treatment program for substance use and co-occurring disorders.  Located in Sorrento Valley, we offer intimate groups led by licensed professional staff who create a warm and nurturing environment. Our individualized programs address the unique mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, and social needs of each client.
