Atlantic Prevention Resources (APR) is a non-profit organization that provides a variety of services including education, prevention, intervention, evaluation, counseling and referrals to people with substance abuse problems, as well as help and information for friends and family members.

n 2008, Atlantic Prevention Resources (APR) became licensed by the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services to provide outpatient and intensive outpatient alcohol and drug counseling for adults. Services include interventions, initial assessments, individual, group and family counseling, and recovery support.

APR is a comprehensive alcohol and drug counseling center that specializes in treating alcohol dependence and drug addiction. If you or a loved one is having problems with alcohol or drugs, APR can help. Our program emphasizes our client's welfare above all else and is our guiding principle.

At APR we believe the most effective approach to treatment of chemical dependency incorporates a combination of counseling, a strong network, and active involvement in the recovery community. Recovery must be an ongoing process, taking into account each aspect of life that is altered by alcohol and drug use.
