How do I get in for Treatment?
Drug and alcohol addiction is a very serious problem that has dramatic effects on not only the addict, but also his or her friends, family, and loved ones. When someone troubled by drug or alcohol addiction reaches out for help, his or her loved ones often do not know the proper steps to take to get help for the individual in need. It is also helpful during this stressful time to know what to expect when seeking help.

The first step to take is to contact a treatment program, like All About Recovery. When initial contact is made with a treatment facility, it is helpful for the prospective client to make that call. During this phone call, a staff member here at All About Recovery will ask for some information about the client. We will first need demographic information such as address, phone number, social security number and birthday.

Next, we will need to know if the client has insurance and if so, the information on the insurance card. After this information is obtained, our staff will need to know details about what substances the patient is using, the amount normally used, how long he or she has been using and when the last use was. We will next ask for a brief medical and mental health history to determine if the client is safe to be admitted directly to All About Recovery or if there is a need to be stabilized first.

Once it has been determined by the staff at All About Recovery that a client is appropriate for admission to one of our programs, an appointment for an intake assessment will be set up. During this appointment, the client is asked a variety of questions regarding their past and present chemical use, physical and mental health, and family life. The admissions process takes approximately an hour and a half to two hours.

If you have any further questions please contact the admissions department at All About Recovery at (713) 697-6820. You may also submit an information request directly from this website. We will contact you within 24 hours.

What if I don’t have any insurance?

If you or your family members who are interested in treatment do not have insurance, there are other options for funding. We will evaluate your eligibility for state funded services. We also have a sliding scale available, please discuss your concerns with the admissions counselor and they will give you more information about your options.

How much will this cost?
We charge $55/week for SOP (Supportive Outpatient Programs) and $110/week for IOP (Intensive Outpatient Programs).

Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program
Our drug treatment and alcohol rehabilitation options are designed to offer you a lifetime of support. We can help you design a treatment plan that fits your individual needs, whether your problem is alcohol, drugs, or both.
We provide a standard intensive and supportive outpatient treatment program. In addition we offer a specialized program for addicted professionals, college aged students, persons with co-occurring mental health problems and a criminal justice diversion program.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is for individuals who have a substance dependence problem and have not completed a residential program. These individuals must have a stable living environment and be medically stable. Placement in this program is based on assessment by a licensed professional and reviewed by our treatment team. Individuals admitted to this program will receive intensive services developed to provide an understanding of addiction and what is necessary to recover from it. They are also monitored closely for problems and seen more frequently by the staff.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program provides 10-12 hours of group and
individual counseling with sessions three or four days or evenings per
week.  The program length depends on individual need and is between 6-12 weeks.
Supportive Outpatient Treatment Program
Our Supportive Outpatient Program (SOP) is for individuals who have completed a residential program or have transitioned from the intensive program. Placement in this program is based on assessment by a licensed professional and reviewed by our treatment team. Individuals will have a basic understanding of addiction and effective coping. Our Supportive Outpatient Program helps clients develop effective relapse prevention skills through education, individual and group sessions.
Our outpatient program provides a minimum of five hours of group and individual counseling with sessions two day/evenings per week. The program length depends on individual need and is between 12-18 weeks.
